BIO

His passion for imagery began at the age of 10, when his uncle used to record all of the family reunions with his camera. Sergio was always curious about what his uncle was recording, and always asked him what he could see through the lens.
At the age of 15, he was gifted his first polaroid camera, which quickly became his main hobby. He self studied all the way until 2005, where he started a degree in Audiovisual Communication. When he finished in 2008, he bought himself his first Nikon D60, which is what he used for his first assignments.

 

His influence in photography comes from great renown photographers such as Robert Frank, Philip-Lorca DiCorcia, Alberto Garcia Alix, Walker Evans, Gregory Crewdson, Ansel Adams…
After a few years of nurturing and learning each step of the audiovisual world, he feels ready to take the leap as a Director of Photography.
His sensitivity, self-demand, perfectionism, appreciation of beauty and connection with light, are materialized in his work, which has led him to work in the world of advertising and music videos. 



 

He has worked for big brands such as:
Burger King, Carrefour, Ikea, Range Rover, Jaguar, Movistar, Dgt, Netflix, San Miguel, Zara Home, Playstation, Randstad, Betfair, Luckia …
And artists such as: Leon Benavente, Manuel Carrasco, Kaydi cain, Cora Novoa, The ponds, Sidecars …
In his spare time he enjoys to be surrounded by the people he loves most, apart from traveling, watching movies and enjoying outdoor sports.
